Manager Finance, Product Africa Regions Everyday Banking and Card at Standard Bank Group

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Manage the month end reporting process for EDB and Africa Regions Card. This Involves review of journal entries, analysis of results, review of Manco packs, and presentation of results at Manco. Ensure proper financial controls are implemented and/ maintained. These includes monthly review of general ledger reconciliations and completion of relevant dashboards. Active role in the preparation of financial business cases and Stakeholder support in terms of detailed deep dive and analysis. Support BU and product heads to provide with support on Balance Sheet financial management that includes accurate monthly financial reporting, ensure asset register hygiene is maintained and compliant with accounting standards. Provide support to business through financial modelling, and post tracking business initiatives, ensuring key objectives are measured. To partner with stakeholders and with business to achieve set outcomes and objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications

• Type of Qualification: Postgraduate Degree
• Field of Study: Finance and Accounting / Mathematical Sciences

Experience Required

• Finance
• 3-4 Years
• Well-versed in the financial field with at least 5 years’ experience
• Previous Electronic banking experience would be preferable
• Knowledge of FMI, SAP ECC, EBP and PCM
• Ability to perform complex Digital modelling
• Advanced excel, Power BI
• Knowledge and understanding of accounting, financial systems, and MIS systems
