Makeup Artist - Mr Price (fixed term contract) at Mr Price Group

Purpose

Mr Price is looking for an experienced make-up artist in our Menlyn store to assist customers with Scarlett Hill Beauty products over the festive period. The role will require advising customers on the correct products to meet their needs, as well as testing products on customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Sales
• Provide welcoming, personal, professional service to all customers at all times.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills, listen to the customer, ask questions, investigate preferences and make the experience interactive.
• Suggest groups of appropriate products and colours to meet and exceed customer’s needs.
• Assist customers with product and services selection and information.
• Perform professional and appropriate makeup applications to achieve the look the customer desires                                                                            

Requirements 

• Certificate in Makeup Artistry .
• 2 years’ plus experience in the makeup industry. (preferable with a portfolio of work).
• Experience working with different skin types and tones.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer oriented with a proactive and positive attitude.
• Product knowledge.
