Logistics Internship - JHB at Giesecke+Devrient

The key responsibilities of the position are as follows, but not limited to:

Process Improvement Collaboration:

• Work closely with connected departments such as purchasing, production, and production support, etc.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying areas for optimization.

Inventory Control:

• Assist in managing inventory levels and ensuring accurate stock records.
• Learn about inventory management practices within the logistics context.

Logistics Functions:

• Gain hands-on experience in logistics operations.
• Participate in tasks related to shipping, transportation, and distribution.
• Business Etiquette and Practices:
• Learn about business etiquette specific to logistics support.
• Understand how logistics integrates with overall business operations.

MINIMUM ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree or Post Qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or equivalent.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 1 years or more professional market related experience in similar role.
• Strong analytical skills
• Attention to detail
• Proficiency in MS Office tools
• Interest in logistics processes
