• Hesto Harnesses Is looking for a dynamic and energetic candidate to join the Engineering Department.

Job description

•         To support in ensuring that production processes are in line with the Global Unit Measure (GUM) standard to measure company productivity and efficiencies thereby ensuring competitiveness of the organisation.
•         To support in analysing equipment to ensure specific performance and optimum utilization.
•         To conduct time studies on all processes and equipment to increase efficiencies.
•         To assist with facilities design to optimise processes.
•         To assist in mapping out current operational process and recommend best optimum process design.
•         To establish new process design from customer base information.

Minimum requirements

•         Grade 12/NQF Level 4 (Essential)
•         National Diploma in Industrial engineering (Essential)
•         B. Tech in industrial Engineering (Desirable)
•         1 Year experience in conducting Time Studies on various operations/Industries (Essential)
•         At least 1-year experience in Facilities layout/design (Essential)
•         2 Years working experience in the use of Quality Core tools (i.e. FMEA, control plans; APQP) (Desirable)
