What You'll Be Doing

Works closely with Regulatory Affairs and Product Development (PD) Category leaders to develop and implement reformulation plans.
Understands formula Value Engineering, Simplification and Sustainability goals and opportunities to also incorporate into Regulatory-driven reformulation plans.
Key Accountabilities

• Product Development Scientist working in the lab to formulate high performing, high quality products.
• Works closely with packaging team to ensure the product is compatible and stable and delivers the right in-use experience.
• Works with R&D partner functions and Market Research to qualify product safety, efficacy, compliance, stability and quality and to validate product performance with the consumer.
• Ensures formulation work is on track for key project milestones. Responsiblefor technical development of product formulation from inception to launch.
• Strong lab bench skills and technical competency.
• Uses technical methods and sensory testing to evaluate product performance and ensure targets are delivered.
• Incorporates product sustainability improvements into reformulations where possible.
• This role should demonstrate curiosity and a global mindset, adept at working across different cultures and passionate about people and planet.

Work Experience & Education

• 0-3 years' experience in R&D in FMCG industry or other lab-based experience on product development.
• Bachelor's level Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or other relevant technicaldegree, with Master's preferred.

Skills & Competences

• Requires in-depth CFT formulation knowledge to quickly develop and implement reformulation strategies across a wide range of product types.
• Strong chemistry and analytical training as well as problem solving, interpersonal, team, bench and communications (oral & written) skills.
• Strong organizational competencies and able to work successfully in a matrixglobal environment.
• Experience with green/ sustainable chemistry and Design-to-Cost principles is a plus else would need to demonstrate curiosity and a global mindset and a
