Laboratory Technician (Temporary) - Krugersdorp Mill at PepsiCo

Responsibilities

• Standardize laboratory methodologies and training of personnel on laboratory practices, food safety and EHS.
• Report quality performance and needs for improvement
• Managed laboratory ingredients, store and equipment
• Sample raw materials, packaging & finished products, test non-routine raw materials, packaging & finished products.
• Analyse & compute data & recorded information
• Apply laboratory hygiene & safety procedures

Qualifications

• 3-4 years relevant working experience.
• 1 - 2 years supervisory experience.
• Matric.
• Degree or Diploma in Food Technology, Biotechnology or any relevant qualification.
• Knowledge of FSSC 22000 and AIB requirements.
• Computer Literacy.
