    IStore Channel Manager: SMB/Education

    Purpose of the role:

    • You will be responsible for building the SMB and education business, within the iStore retail channel.
    • This involves developing and maintaining relationships with the iStore retail channel (stores and internal stakeholders), executing SMB and Education sales strategies, providing support and training and ensuring the achievement of revenue and unit sales targets.
    • Drive iStore retail channel success and contribute to iStore Business’ growth in the retail SMB space.
    • Optimise and maximise the value and revenue growth of the existing SMB customer base through key marketing and sales activities to unlock new opportunities and drive customers to the iStores.
    • You will be responsible for managing budgets and forecasting sales, as well as coordinating with iStore teams and other departments within the company to ensure that the SMB/education retail channel is running smoothly and efficiently.

    Requirements:

    • Completed Matric and relevant business qualification.
    • Min 3 years’ experience in a Channel Manager, BDM or Retail Management role.
    • Min 5 years’ sales experience in the Technology / ICT / Telecoms / Retail Industry.
    • Excellent retail sales, channel management, and administrative skills. Demonstrated experience and knowledge in business-to-business. (B2B) sales including negotiating and securing B2B deals.
    • Proven track record in dealing with Small & Medium Businesses in a retail environment.
    • Experience and know-how to stimulate and grow business sales in a strong consumer retail environment/industry.
    • Must have own transport and valid drivers license.
