    HR Systems Administrator

    Key duties and responsibilities:

    Implementation of Sage 300 Systems

    • Provide support to the Systems Manager in the implementation of the Sage system.
    • Serve as a system administrator for HR systems and applications.
    • Ensure security and end-user access across all HR platforms.
    • Ensure alignment of the HR system with Company policies.
    • Conduct system clean-up to ensure data integrity.
    • Ensure the execution of the test scripts.
    • Manage HRIS user access profiles and organisational structure.
    • Assist in the preparation of the current processes for review for future changes.
    • Ensure the current system data is correct to import into the new system.
    • Compile statistical reports concerning employee related data as and when required. 

    Administration

    • Resolve complex queries and requests relating to System and HR Policies.
    • Participate in departmental internal and external audit processes.
    • Support in the collection and documentation of business requirements.
    • Support in the collection of signoff documentation.
    • Administration efficiencies and ongoing monitoring. 

    System Training

    • Coordinate the training interventions for HR systems.
    • Train colleagues and employees on Sage 300. 
    • Any other tasks as agreed with line manager.
       

    Minimum qualifications and experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree or, Human Resources or related.
    • 3 - 5 years relevant experience, of which 2- 3 providing system support in Human Resource.
    • Knowledge of the Industry, HRIS knowledge is essential.
    • IT project management skills.
    • Understanding of system development lifecycle processes.
    • HR Reporting.
    • HR System’s Support. 

    Skills, competencies, and attributes:

    • Expertise knowledge of HRIS systems in SAP and SAGE.
    • Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
    • Meticulous, detail-orientated and possess advanced analytical skills.
    • Ability to organise, analyse and disseminate significant amounts of information.
    • Passionate about excellent service delivery.
    • Ability to work interdependent and as part of a team.
    • Good communication skills.
    • Deadline-driven and good at self-management.
    • Problem analysis and solving skills.
    • Ability to build effective partnerships.
    • Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
