Head: Business Delivery at Capitec Bank

Purpose Statement

• To support business planning, strategy and delivery across Product and Technology teams as well as prioritise work according to Business needs.
• To lead the capacity planning, funding and forecasting to deliver against the business plan and proactively address risks, impediments, bottlenecks and blockers.
• To lead and manage the Business Delivery department, accountable for optimising departmental performance through goals and metrics, standards, principles and processes.
• To provide teams with a service of Portfolio and Project management and the Way of Work across Business Bank and determine way of work patterns that drive continuous improvement and better delivery.

Experience

Minimum:

• 10yrs+ generalist management in a senior role overseeing a large organizational unit
• or as a specialist in a leadership role such as a manger or head of Project / Portfolio Management Office or Transformation Delivery.
• At least 5 years of management experience across a diverse array of major project/programme initiatives.
• At least 2 - 4 years’ of Project Portfolio Management experience;  including forecasting, prioritisation and tracking.
• Proven experience of using influence and relationships to drive and achieve objectives. 
• Experience of successfully leading, planning and managing strategic initiatives across a large organisation

Ideal:

• 10+ years of Management experience in Capitec Bank.
• Experience in the same or a similar industry
• Leading and managing teams of 20+ employees

Qualifications (Minimum)

• Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
• A relevant degree in Commerce or Information Systems

Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

• A relevant qualification in Project Management or Project Management Certification (i.e. Prince 2, Agile, DSDM, Atern)
