    Fleet Sales Representative: New Vehicle

    Specific Role Responsibilities

    • To ensure that the Brand and Dealership is actively marketed and promoted in the allocated, approved targeted market.
    • To penetrate the vehicle market in a well-organized, trained and professional manner.
    • To identify new and maintain current customers, to maximize sales.
    • To ensure benchmark customer satisfaction and standards of the Dealer and Manufacturer are maintained.
    • Achieve and exceed targeted sales units and first gross profit.
    • Customer and sales management.
    • Develop the business to reach set sales targets for the month.
    • Drive specific strategies to retain and grow existing customer base.
    • Prospect for new customers and maintain existing customer relationships.
    • Sell fleer vehicle features and benefits.
    • Handle customer questions and overcome objections.
    • Professionally handle the vehicle handover to the customer.
    • Manage customer expectations to ensure effective delivery of service.
    • Marketing and promotions
    • Attend regular sales meetings.
    • Attend all relevant OEM training courses, and any other developmental training opportunities allocated

    Qualifications and Experience

    Educational Requirement

    • Matric Grade 12 essential, Tertiary qualification (Desirable), Driver’s license,
    • Preferably OEM Sales certification will be an advantage

     Experience Requirement

    • Premium brand Vehicle Sales - > 1.5 years
    • Proven track record of an average CSI rating above national.
    • A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the motor dealership industry. Experience selling the same/similar brands
    • successfully is an advantage.
    • Relevant experience in Fleet Sales is highly desired.
    • Solid Fleet Sales background would be of advantage.
    • A proven track record of meeting monthly targets.
    • Experience in cold calling to develop a client base.

    Other Requirements:

    • Valid, unendorsed driver’s license
    • Computer literate
    • Understanding of the compliance governing the retail industry would be an advantage.
    • Knowledge of dealership policies and procedures.
    • Knowledge of competitive motor industry.
