    Finance & Support Intern.

    Finance Team in the South Africa is looking for an exceptional Accounting & Support Services intern to be based in our office in Isando, Kempton Park.

    Most tasks and responsibilities will require your dedicated contribution as part of a team, but individual initiative will be encouraged.

     Responsibilities Include: 

    • Overall responsibility of the expense claims processing for the ALMEA region on SAP concur.
    • Downloading of employee expense claims (mileage claims, reimbursements) list for the month on Concur and send it to Human Resources for processing.
    • Preparing of schedules (accruals/intercompany charges etc) for monthly month end closing
    • Assist with bookkeeping of Angola Service Centre
    • Assist with computation of company corporate income tax, dividends tax & deferred tax
    • Support Accountants with IFRS 16 new leases, derecognitions, modifications
    • Assist with preparation of external audit documentation.
    • Assist with annual financial statement preparation on Draftworx
    • Assist with month end, year-end closing processes.
    • Assist with ad hoc request from Regional Accounts Receivable Manager 
    • Assist with Adhoc technical matters faced by the accounting function.
    • Assist with yearend stock taking process.
    • Assist Accounting team with various ad hoc tasks.
    • Process improvements

    Qualification and Experience 

    • B Com Accounting, BCompt 
    • Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles and or honors are an added advantage. 
    • Computer literate in MS Office which includes Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook. 
    • A basic understanding and knowledge of the regulatory requirements impacting on the mechanical industry, although not a prerequisite. 
    • 2-5 years working experience.
