Facilities Assistant at Oxford University Press Southern Africa

Principal Accountabilities:

• Office cleanliness maintained: clean and tidy offices and meeting room, bathrooms and kitchen areas.
• Maintain stock of canteen and cleaning supplies: sufficient supply of canteen and cleaning supplies
• Manual handling: moving and packing of office boxes and furniture, ad hoc minor general maintenance.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification (NQF 4)
• Experience in facilities environment
• Knowledge of Manual handling and health and safety
• Valid driver’s license (advantageous)
• Good planning and organisational skills
• Previous minor maintenance experience (advantageous)
