Engineering Storeman - Isando at PepsiCo

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the required inventory of spares & other items (consumables & non-stock) for process as well as utility equipment.
• Must work with close supervision of Engineering Buyer/Stores Manager to handle all the day to day activities in the stores.
• Responsible to order/replenish stock items, non-stock spares and all other adhoc requirements in support of Maintenance.
• Responsible for receiving, packing and/or unpacking, storing and Issuing of all items in Engineering stores.
• Maintain good housekeeping and product safety in order to ensure compliance against AIB & FSSC standards.
• Ensure that receiving shelf is cleared of all items before shift ends.
• Ensure coverage of all the spare parts.
• Following up with the vendor for delivery of open orders.
• Ensuring that the receipt and issue of all engineering goods is in compliance with the Pepsico policies.
• Daily housekeeping.
• Prep and kit all planned jobs set out by Maintenance planner.
• Conduct Monthly cycle counts as per SOA.
• Conduct Quarterly full counts as per SOA.
• Receipting of deliveries made or services rendered on the day it occurs.
• Follow up on all item sent off site for repairs.

Qualifications

• Matric (Storeman Course advantageous)
• 3-5 years Experience
• Computer Literacy
• Self-starter
• Deadline driven
• Team player
• Ability to work shifts
• Technical understanding of spares in relation to machinery
• Understanding of production consumable items to specific equipment and processes
