    Employee Engagement Officer

    Job Description
    Do you thrive on enhancing employee engagement, armed with a passion for problem-solving and a knack for organization? We're seeking a dynamic Employee Engagement Officer to take the lead in fostering a positive workplace culture and boosting overall employee satisfaction and retention.

    In this pivotal role, you'll craft and implement innovative strategies that resonate throughout our organization, collaborating closely with diverse teams to design impactful programs and initiatives. From employee surveys and feedback analysis to developing robust onboarding plans and spearheading employee recognition programs, your role will be instrumental in shaping a cohesive and motivated workforce. 

    Your job responsibilities will include:

    • Develop employee engagement strategies and programs that increase employee satisfaction and reduce staff turnover
    • Lead the implementation and monitoring of engagement programs
    • Conduct surveys and focus group discussions to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement
    • Survey and Feedback Analysis:
      • Design and administer employee surveys to gauge engagement levels and gather feedback.
      • Analyse survey results and provide actionable insights to management for continuous improvement
      • Conduct exit interviews to establish trends and patterns and as engage in retention discussions with employees
    • Training and Development:
      • Support managers in fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth
      • Create and implement effective onboarding plans
    • Monitoring and reporting on key engagement metrics to stakeholders
    • Create and manage employee recognition programmes
    • Diversity and Inclusion:
      • Promote a diverse and inclusive workplace by supporting initiatives that celebrate different backgrounds and perspectives
      • Partner with diversity and inclusion teams to integrate inclusive practices into engagement strategies

    What we're looking for:

    • A degree or diploma in HR or a related field
    • At least 2 years experience as an Employee Engagement Officer / similar role
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proficiency in data analysis and HR metrics
    • Familiarity with HR software and best practices
    • Comprehensive knowledge of EE, BCEA, LRA, and HR strategies
