Education and experience

• NQF Level 3/5 Electrical Engineering
• Qualified Electrician
• A Wireman’s license would be advantageous.
• 2+ Previous experience on Machine tool (CNC, milling, lathe and grinding machines etc.)

Main responsibilities

• New electrical installation (wiring, testing, and commissioning of equipment).
• Maintenance of site and factory electrical reticulation.
• Fault finding and repair of electrical breakdowns with emphasis on CNC machine.
• Pre – planned preventative maintenance of electrical equipment and machines.
• Preform trade related tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
• Audit factory and draw up a task list to complete findings.

Required Skills

• Good communication skills.
• Attention to detail (Meticulous and accurate).
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Problem- solving: Ability to identify faults; problems, determine possible solutions and fix faults.
