    Electrical Engineering Manager

    • A vacancy exists with a multinational engineering client in one of their Johannesburg offices. The position will be reporting to the Technical manager.

    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    • Minimum of 10 years' experience in the power transformer industry with extensive electrical transformer electrical design experience in a similar manufacturing range of transformers and also experience in routine, type and special tests. 

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Bsc. Eng, or equivalent in heavy current

    AUTHORITY

    • To design or modify designs of transformers in accordance with the approved Company design manual.
    • Develop new products in conjunction with the sales team, production manager and the approval of DCEO

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • To manage the production schedule to meet all deadline as set by the company for the design department
    • Conduct design reviews and submit to technical manager for approval
    • Support the technical manager in all avenues related to transformer electrical design
