    Driver PPPrev - Mthatha

    Purpose of the position:   

    • To provide services such as programme transportation, assets, fleet support and other related duties.   

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Grade 12
    • Computer literacy
    • Minimum five years’ driving experience in an NGO setting
    • Some security experiences
    • Experience in HIV/AIDS prevention and care and support programming an advantage
    • Valid code 10 driver’s licence with a professional driving permit (PDP)
    • Demonstrate sensitivity in working with vulnerable or hard to reach populations
    • Ability to communicate in English and IsiXhosa

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    • Assist with driving and transportation according to programme needs
    • Conducts monthly inspections to ensure that the vehicle logs are accurately completed and reports back.
    • Keeps track of vehicle license expiry and reports to Head Office timeously
    • Assists with gathering the information for all vehicles linked to accidents and traffic violations
    • Assists with the monitoring of assets and their movements, ensure that any unused assets are stored safely and keeps stock sheet for monitoring
    • Assists with asset verification when needed.
    • Submits vehicle and asset reports as requested
