Draughtsman (AUTOCAD) - Stormill, Roodepoort at Automation Control Solutions (ACS)

Description    

• Automation Control Solutions is a market leader in Southern Africa in the field of Process Control Instrumentation providing world-renowned products, specialised training, after sales service and technical support.
• Automation Control Solutions represents Emerson Automation Solutions, in Southern and Eastern Africa.
• The Draughtsman will be responsible for creating drawings on CAD for various specialised electrical panels and projects.
• Assistance in panel workshop with assembling and all panel wiring, labelling and testing functions, will be a requirement.

Minimum Requirements    
Qualifications:

• Grade 12 / Matric
• AutoCAD Certification - Esssential 

Experience:

• 3 years CAD experience  
• E-plan experience would be advantageous

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Design and understanding of specialised panels and their functions,specific to customer requirement and specification.
• Assist in the build and lay-out of panels 
• Drafts in AutoCAD - Specific to Plant Automation electronics and Process Control.
• Assist with procurement duties
• Follow established departmental policies, procedures and objectives, assuring continuous quality improvement & safety awareness
• Assist with E-Plan Drawings basic function (After Training)
