Data Analyst

Primary purpose of the role

To ensure that reports are compiled and analyzed daily, weekly, and monthly as per the client’s requirement with accurate information. To Provide an in -depth business technical support of client service delivery applications and to ensure continued performance of implemented applications are processed for Kellogg’s site. To be able to put together spreadsheets and presentations that are graphically represented with relevant business information

Key Accountabilities

• To formalize the delivery of Management information teams for Kellogg’s MWHS
• Responsible for all reporting, of data as well any analysis information
• To provide an in- depth support of client service delivery reports whilst ensuring that these reports are released as per defined delivery frequencies.
• Actively engage the BU management and operational teams on information requirements, converting these into specifications for report development.
• Ensure timeous production and distribution of monthly, weekly, and daily operational and management reports to internal and external customers.
• Ensure a structured reporting environment is maintained.
• Participate in the development and production of manually developed reports and presentations that will be used by the BU Management and operational teams for management and analysis
• Ensure all reports adhere to agreed reporting standards within BU.
• Analyze and work with large data sets doing queries
• Responsible of Data Reconciliation
• Ensure Timeous Distribution of monthly and daily reports to internal and external customers
• Manage BI Reporting Change request by BU
• Ensure that database used for reporting are housed in a secure environment
• Management Information Systems

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Business Management
• Certificate on advance computing course, MS Office

Skills/Competencies/Experiences

• 3-5 Years work experience in Logistics Operations
• Understanding of database
• Understanding of business reporting and KPI's
• Advance Computer Literacy on MS office, reporting, writing tools and warehouse management System.
• Good Analytical and Numerical skills
• Customer Management at a Senior level
• Excellent Communication (Verbal and Written)
