    Costing Clerk - Port Elizabeth

    Requirements: 

    • Grade 12/ equivalent.
    • Clean criminal record,
    • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
    • Computer literate.
    • Openly and pleasantly conversant
    • Minimum 1 year experience in costing at a dealership
    • Driver's license
    • Office administration experience within the Motor Dealership Industry

    Responsibilities: 

    • Accurately cost job cards and hand over to After Sales Consultant
    • Ensure all motor plan contracts are active
    • Verify service customer details
    • Check vehicle sale and manufacturing dates
    • Check chassis and engine numbers
    • Review customer service history
    • Verify extra work required
    • Confirm service kit is checked
    • Ensure all active campaigns are completed
    • Allocate correct labour costs to repair costs
    • Cost repair orders and process supplier invoices
    • Raise sublet repair orders
    • Follow up on job status
    • Receive and process invoices
    • Identify items for customer payment upon vehicle collection
    • Print and file invoices
    • Ensure all mark-ups are loaded accurately
    • Process Motor plan / Warranty claims on WXE
    • Track claims daily until payment is received
    • Ensure accurate claim submissions to H/O
    • Obtain Motor plan and Warranty authorization via CAESAR system
    • Ensure additional work is counter-signed by relevant technical person
    • Address general Motor plan / Warranty inquiries and corrective actions
    • Download payment files weekly
    • Reconcile claims promptly
    • Address claim rejections, over or underpayments, and take corrective action
    • Retrieve correct parts from the parts warehouse
    • Accurately bin and return parts to H/O
    • Return parts to H/O promptly
    • Ensure dockets are signed and filed correctly
    • Send copies to H/O
