Coordinator: Design Studio at Capitec Bank

Purpose Statement

• To support the overall marketing strategy and plan by coordinating initiatives, campaigns, tasks and activities in a function of the department, ensuring promotion of the Capitec brand, quality of work and functional efficiencies.
• Support Studio Manager with coordination of projects relating to the studio team to ensure quality standards and deadlines are met
• Support the Studio Management team with various administrative duties

Experience
Min:

• At least 1-2 years’ relevant experience in a marketing/design studio/creative environment
• Proven experience in the coordination of resources (people), project and tasks in a creative environment

Ideal:

• At least 2 years’ relevant experience related to the management of design studio workflow within an agency or printing environment

Qualifications (Minimum)

• Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational

Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Project Management

Knowledge
Min:

• Sound knowledge of and insight into design studio and creative agencies environments and processes 

Ideal:

• Knowledge of media which the majority of the public are exposed to often/on a daily basis (i.e. magazine, newspaper, television, radio, world wide web etc.)
• Understanding of the advertising and creative process
• Printing trends and technology related to the industry
• Technical knowledge of media primarily being used in sales promotion and retail functions (i.e. pamphlets, brochures, direct mail etc.)
• Printing processes (screen print and litho printing)
• Colours (Pantone, CMYK etc.)
• Agile and JIRA
