    Consultant: Client Liaison

    Job Description

    • The Sales and Customer Liaison Officer will be part of a team servicing and increasing sales of Netstar Products within a key account which is in the insurance segment. The candidate will be primarily responsible for driving and increasing sales of Netstar products in an insurance call centre environment thus basic knowledge of the short term insurance industry is a requirement.
    • He/she will also act as a liaison between the key account and Netstar.  

    The role will also include the below :

    • daily communication with sales agents and team mangers at the key account and various departments at Netstar
    • planning and implementation of sales drives to increase sales at the key account
    • daily compilation of sales statistics and reporting
    • presentations and training to new and existing call centre agents on Netstar products, dealing with agent or client queries, as well as reporting and administrative tasks.
    • Creating brand visibility within the key account  
    • Liaising with, and answering enquiries from sales agents and team managers based at the key account, often via telephone and email.
    • Assisting with the planning and implementation of sales strategies and campaigns
    • Communicating with colleagues and key stakeholders internally and at the key account
    • Maintain and grow relationships internally and at the key account.
    • Identify opportunities to increase sales 
    • Presentation and training of Netstar products and services to individual or groups of agents in a call centre environmentKeep record of sales and communicate stats to sales agents and brand managers at the key account
    • Must be able to attend functions were needed
    • Adhere to KPI and targets as set out by management

    Essentials

    • Basic knowledge of the short term insurance industry
    • Understanding Call centre principles and practices
    • Ability to manage sales drives
    • Strong Sales background
    • Ability to resolve customer complaints
    • Microsoft word / excel / outlook proficient
    • Ability to work in a pressurised environment.
    • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal).
    • Ability to handle escalations and take ownership.
    • Decision making ability
    • Mange administration workloads and reports
    • Self motivated and driven

    Education

    • National Certificate Level 4 (N4) / Grade 12: Marketing
