What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with the following experience, qualifications and /or skillsets:

• The Collections Agent is responsible for the administration of debtors and general finance/office support.
• Matric.
• Relevant qualification. e.g. Finance.
• 1 years’ experience as a Debtors Clerk.
• Clear criminal record.

The responsibilities are:

Debtors Administration           

• Review class list for billing cycle to send to head office.
• Check system for monitoring of payments.
• Check age analysis of payment to confirm payments.
• Commence debt collection of non-paying parents based on list of outstanding payments.
• Constant follow up of payments.
• Answers queries of walk-in clients and parents with regards to payments.
• Prepare invoices for parents to submit to trust fund including all items such as hostel fees, school fees, sport etc.
• Take and process payments.

Finance and Office support   

• Provide support in the payment of invoices including review, copies and filing of slips.
• Write up of orders for creditors.
• General filing of all finance documentation.
• Personal commitment to education and a willingness to contribute to the values and ethos of the school.
