Cleaner: Canteen at South African Bank Note Company

Job Summary:

• To perform overall hygiene services, ensuring clean workstations, walkways, ablutions and storage areas for the South African Bank Note Company (SABN) facilities.

Main Responsibilities (not limited to):

•  Carry out cleaning tasks for designated areas, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents etc.
•  Clean the side walls and pathways.
•  Clean the kitchen according to the cleaning schedule in place.
•  Washing the dishes, cutlery, food trolleys and trays.
•  Daily inspection of the designated areas and completion of the checklist.
•  Weekly cleaning of hard-to-reach areas.
•  Assisting Stores on Ad hoc duties (Cleaning of fridges and Stores areas)
•  Knowledge of chemical used in the kitchen.

The Preferred Candidate is likely to have:

•  Grade 12
•  1-2 years’ experience in cleaning position
