Mobile Phone Technician Job in Pretoria, Gauteng at Brothers Tech Group –
Key Accountabilities / Objectives:
The main duty of a cell phone technician is to attend to damaged or faulty phones brought in by customers. Diagnoses and repair phones.
Skills: Good oral and written communication skills so as to deal with customers well and provide high-quality customer service. Applicants should have adequate exposure to RF amplifier development. A good knowledge and experience with soldering equipment used for chip components. Must be proficient in computer skills and have knowledge of operating different types of mobile phones.
Knowledge: Understanding of mobile data and it’s components, including GSM/GPRS,3G Good level of understanding of Smart Phones would be highly beneficial. Excellent knowledge of Computer Laptop and Tablet operating systems
Requirements: Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent (Essential) A degree or diploma in electronics. At least two years experience. Good knowledge of RF spectrum analyzers and RF network analyzers. Must have knowledge of cell phone systems such as GSM, EDGE, CDMA or WDMA
