Job Description

• This role determines and documents business requirements.
• Works with design & implementation staff to assist with the design and implementation of solutions within constraints.
• The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through own efforts
• Working Agile, delivery of MFC Programme Management Office Backlog Delivery items, in MFC Servicing Operations.

At a high-level level:

• An Agile Business Analyst who is business-oriented, eager to learn, is empathetic, flexible towards working in an Agile environment. Must be innovative and goal-oriented.
• Understanding Customer Service Model, Value stream mapping process; Lean Principles : crucial
• Is Subject matter expert for products & processes - manages change to support Product Admin and other systems in Customer Service operational and tactical delivery, documents requirements
• Documents user guides & develops and implements a communication plan for redesigned processes, technical and procedural information
•  Understanding of technical business area related to the projects taken
•  Expert in conceptual modelling; visualising possible solutions innovatively
• Excellent proficiency in verbal and non-verbal communication skills
• Ability to critically question to help the team foresee the future problems
• Ability to file the requirements based on the project
•  Ability to understand the Agile development process
• Familiarity with requirements' techniques such as informal modelling, use cases, writes user stories and acceptance criteria, i.e., primary techniques used by Agile teams for requirements gathering       
• Analyses past, present and future business environment.
• Works closely with systems analyst and project manager to design and implement solutions.
• Tests systems and user acceptance and implements changes or new applications.
• Ensures all testing protocols are adhered to.
• Investigates and defines requirements for business processes.
• Analyses business processes to determine problems, risks & opportunities for improvement. Renders support and facilitates sessions for end-users, including training. Documents requirements including data modelling, interface layouts, data flows, screen and report layouts, etc.

Role Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric) - Required
• Relevant Business Analyst qualification, or a related degree will be advantageous.
• 2-3 + years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Experience in the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance industry
• Experience in using Agile methodologies will be advantageous.
