Administration Clerk: Agricultural Producer Support and Development (Laingsburg) at Western Cape Government

Job Purpose    

• The Department of Agriculture, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a competent individual to provide administrative and secretarial support to Agricultural Advisors. This post is stationed at Laingsburg. 

Minimum Requirements    

• Senior Certificate (Grade 12 or equivalent qualification); A valid (Code B or higher) driving licence. NB: People with disabilities that restrict driving abilities, but who have reasonable access to transport, may also apply.

Recommendation    

• Relevant experience.

Key Performance Areas    

• Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Agricultural Advisors; General office administration; Provide secretariat and logistical support for all meetings and events; Travel to such meetings to provide the necessary support; Liaise with all stakeholders related to the Comprehensive Agricultural Support Programme; Practicing the eight Batho Pele Principles.

• Sound organisational and leadership abilities; Good written and verbal communication; Ability to work in a team, work under pressure and prepare and deliver good presentations.
