    Admin and Compliance Manager - Northern Suburbs (Cape)

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    Provide administrative and reporting support as well as ensure compliance to health and safety and facility management standards to reduce operational risks within all Distributions Centres Nationally.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Review Monthly P&L with DC Managers and Admin Supervisors for feedback on under and overspends.
    • Assist DC Managers with verification of amounts when compiling the annual Budgets for DC.  
    • Submit capex requests, appraise financial risk of major capital investment, track capex spending against budget.
    • Consolidate monthly reports and use data to draw assumptions to provide insights and recommendations to  DC Managers regarding cost drivers.
    • Ensure the implementation of and compliance to projects aimed at business optimisation such as: Biometric Systems, Labour Scheduling Tools, Supplier Compliance and Labour Compliance.
    • Ensure the standardisation of National Admin processes and controls across all DCs.
    • Supplier administration incl. annual incr. control for Security & Labour Brokers.
    • Ensure compliance in that labour time sheets are used correctly and submitted to Labour Brokers (TES) for Weekly Payroll 
    • Ensure compliance for the TES Bonuses schedules 
    • Ensure compliance to all standards to limit business risk and ensure business continuity.
    • Analyse data to identify patterns and initiate action.
    • Ensure that the DCs initiates the Stock Loss process in the DC and that they follow the standard procedure.
    • Ensure the National implementation of all OSHA requirements
    • Verify KPI Robot reports for DC’s
    • Liaises with stakeholders regarding operational DC Admin support and compliance concerns and projects  (e.g. Central Office Finance, Receiving, Storage, QC and Distribution)

    Requirements

    • Diploma in Business Administration or Finance
    • 5 years financial experience 
    • 5 years Distribution Centre experience 
    • Proven track record People Leadership and Management Skills
    • Excellent Communication and influencing Skills
    • Proficient in GSuite – special focus in Google Sheets
