Accounts Clerk - Cape Town at One&Only Resorts

Job Summary

• Reporting to the Financial Manager, this role will be responsible for the overall accuracy of the processing of the general ledger.  This position will work closely with all departments within the hotel This position will work closely with all departments within the hotel.

Key responsibilities:

• Daily bank journals for operating bank;
• Liaison between bank and operations for ATM and Nedlink terminals;
• Prepare cash position;
• Review, submit and track refunds;
• Monthly Credit card commission reconciliation;
• Assist Accounts Payable with selected accounts;
• Month-end processes i.e. re-allocations of expenses and accruals;
• Reconciliation of Balance Sheet Accounts.

Requirements:

• Advanced knowledge of Excel;
• Experience on Accounting software;
• Tertiary qualification in accounting / bookkeeping an advantage;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Accurate;
• Deadline oriented
