Junior Digital Designer at Salt South Africa

Job description

My client would like to recruit a Graphic & Digital Designer to take care of hotel & restaurant design requirements internally (mailers, menu’s, stationery, collateral, brochures, banners & promotional material), as well as assistance with the other, less demanding departments of the multifaceted business.

• Daily tasks include print design and setup and web design.
• The person should have a valid qualification from a known tertiary institution and should be able to work on Adobe creative suite – InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop but also PowerPoint and Excel.
• Any additional Creative Suite knowledge is very advantageous, specifically After Effects. HTML knowledge (albeit basic) is also to an advantage.
• Possibly 2 – 3 years of experience as he/she will be required to work with minimal supervision whilst managing their own time and schedule.
• A flair for the hospitality industry could be advantageous.
• Should have high attention to detail, be able to work under pressure and make deadlines.
• Commencement salary of R12, 000 per month, after successful probation period of 4 months the salary will increase to R14, 000 per month
