RCL FOODS is on the quest to find a Commercial Executive to join our Sugar & Milling Division in our Westville Offices.

The candidate appointed to this senior management-level position will report to the Customer Service Excellence Director and his/her portfolio will provide direct commercial support and insight to the CSE Director and functional leadership. He / She will facilitate the development of commercial business modelling and engagement with business units and front end commercial processes and deliver enhanced cost to serve costing information and CSE risk analysis designed to unlock improvement opportunities and assist in focused strategic decision-making.

Minimum Requirements:

• CA or CMA
• 10 years’ experience, including commercial costing and people management
• SAP experience would be advantageous as would exposure to a supply chain/FMCG/ logistics environment

Key Deliverables:

• Strategic Contribution
• Provide commercial support to the CSE Director and the CSE leadership team.
• Key initiator in the formulation and implementation of functional strategy, thrusts and associated business model based on a 2 to 5 year view of requirements
• New Project Appraisal and Feasibility Assessment for CSE
• Drive the appraisal and feasibility assessment of relevant CSE projects and provide commercial insight and capacity to the CSE team.
• New Product Development
• Participate in the commercial aspects of the NPD process based on the constraints of the plants and that the products produced are aligned with division and group strategy and product portfolio
• Co-ordination and Reporting
• Drive enhanced CSE performance information designed to unlock improvement opportunities and influence improved contributions, in terms of agreed reporting framework.
• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Drive the CSE Functional financial planning/forecast process and delivery within deadlines.
