    Online Retail Manager - Markham

    As an Online Retail Manager you will be running the online store and be responsible for revenue generation. As a marketer by trade – you need to show us your trader mentality to meet all KPI’s. Using the full collection of digital marketing tools, traditional marketing and CRM, you will coordinate all traffic and sales driver campaigns in line with the strategic brand and marketing strategies.

    Digital Brand Marketer Responsibilities:

    • Developing and leading the BRAND digital and social content strategies
    • Developing and continuously optimising the digital marketing plan
    • Developing, conceptualising and implementing all digital marketing campaigns
    • Seeking new opportunities and initiatives to drive revenue and brand awareness online
    • Ensuring all digital marketing initiatives are trackable and ladder up to overall KPIs and revenue targets
    • Maintaining and updating the BRAND website
    • Maintaining and updating all social media platforms
    • Ensuring all projects and campaigns are executed within allocated budget and deadline
    • Analysing and reporting on all digital campaigns and promotions
    • Sourcing of digital content when necessary
    • Managing external consultants and suppliers
    • Negotiating affiliate marketing strategies and opportunities
    • Consumer and digital trends monitoring and reporting (including competitor analysis)
    • Managing the eCommerce relationship and on-going communication with Merchandise, Operations and the ecommerce contact centre
    • Managing the relationship with various digital suppliers and external consultants
    • Full ownership of, and performance reporting management, for all digital properties
    • Managing and allocating online budget for all expenses in fiscal year, including invoicing and administration.

    Required skills:

    • Digital Marketing experience is a MUST – preferably more than 3 years managing campaigns
    • Knowledge and experience of social media and ecommerce for brands
    • Comfortable with the use of and ability to learn new digital technologies and media tactics
    • Ability to interpret web analytics, tracking and reporting
    • Excellent communication skills: Ability to present strategies and marketing plans; excellent written grammar and spelling
    • Exceptional trader mentality: drive all KPI’s (revenue, basket size, conversion, etc.) in line with targets and strategy
    • A flair for fashion
    • An understanding of the marketing and consumer behaviour
    • Resilience and emotional maturity

     

    Preference will be given, but not limited to candidates from designated groups in terms of the Employment Equity Act.
