    Production Scheduler

    Purpose Of The Job

     

    • In charge to organise and coordinate the planning of all manufacturing activities to ensure on-time product deliveries, while contributing to profitability improvement in terms of costs, lead time and inventory reduction.
    • Identify planning risks and opportunities, providing to management, reports, analysis and actions plans.

    • Reports to the Industrial planning Manager

     

    Network & Links

    Interface to internal customers on site: Sourcing, Production, Industrialization, Quality, Human Resources

    Tasks & Responsibilities

    • Creating production orders for all rolling stock.
    • Chair daily meetings with manufacturing and supply chain to discuss material availability for production to ensure no line stop due to material shortages
    • Provide visibility of all upcoming production activities for Production lines
    • Pilot the different planning processes, document key decisions and communicate them to all stakeholders
    • Identify potential bottlenecks and propose solutions to tackle them
    • Preparation of the monthly MPS based on past period results and inputs from projects/platforms
    • Propose alternative scenarios considering deliveries plans and inventory projections
    • Ensure that production physical progress are accurate and those data are feeding back the MPS process
    • Contribute to the return of experience and improvements, share of best practices

    Candidate Requirements

    Educational Requirements:

     

    • Recognised Industrial planning qualification/supply Chain
    • Desired Knowledge / Experience & Behaviour
    • Similar experience of at least 1 year in an industrial/Planning environment
    • Knowledge of Industrial and planning processes
    • Lean Manufacturing & continuous improvement
    • Excellent communication
    • Strong risk analysis skills & leadership
    • Active team player, deadline driven, process driven
