    Credit Risk Analyst

    Job Description

    The stock control manager is responsible to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the stock control department. They need to drive and retain stock control management stability within Truworths for all South African and International stores , Head Office and the Distribution Centre.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage the stock control consultants
    • Ensure that the stock balances applied to the various internal systems are valid, accurate and complete
    • Keep internal Audit and relevant parties fully informed of all issues highlighted by stock control procedures
    • Prepare and distribute monthly stock control reports to various stakeholders which includes stores, head office and the distribution centre
    • Prepare year end reporting as required by the External Auditors and Finance department
    • Manage and resolve all store stock queries
    • Ensure that all risk areas relating to stock management are highlighted to the Risk Manager
    • Analyse, review and investigate stock take results to verify financial results
    • Ensure that the stock control team maintains excellent communication with all relevant stakeholders
    • Act as an operational and head office escalation point for all stock control issues
    • Relevant ad hoc tasks from time to time

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Matric
    • A BCom level tertiary qualification will be advantageous

    EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE

    • Previous experience in a retail store environment or distribution centre (advantageous)
    • Previous experience in a stock management role will be advantageous
    • Knowledge of stock systems
    • Excellent knowledge of Excel
    • Previous experience managing people
