    Functional Business Analyst

    Job Description

    The HRIM Systems team within TFG has a vacancy available for an assertive and independent Functional Business Analyst. The candidate will play an intermediary role between business and the development team in managing the system changes throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) process.

    Key performance areas:

    • Provide guidance to the business as required determining optimal solutions and highlighting areas for improvement
    • Elicit, understand and document business functional requirements
    • Evaluation and critical analysis of information
    • Produce functional specification documentation including flowcharts, use cases, wireframes and any other diagrams required to clarify business understanding
    • Functional configuration on HR Systems
    • Review QA test cases and perform functional testing
    • Assist in business in User Acceptance Testing sessions
    • Validating functionality of the end product according to the requirement specifications

    You should have:

    • A relevant tertiary qualification
    • Minimum of 5 year’s relevant experience
    • Innovative, critical thinking and problem solving skills
    • The ability to work independently and in a team oriented, collaborative environment
    • The ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high pressure environment
    • Good communication and organisational skills with a strong ability to influence, build relationships with, and negotiate with colleagues, suppliers and external partners
    • Good attention to detail and levels of accuracy
    • Excellent customer service orientation
    • Good knowledge of HR environment and policies & procedures

    Preference will be given, but not limited to, candidates from designated groups in terms of the employment equity act.
