    Analyst Production Planning

    Job description

    POSITION SYNOPSIS:

    The purpose of this role is to sample, prepare and perform physical, chemical and bacteriological analyses.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Serious contenders will have a Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science;
    • Experience in an analytical coal laboratory or analytical water laboratory is advantageous;
    • Computer literacy in MS Office is essential;
    • Valid Driver’s License is essential;
    • Basic Coal Preparation Certificate will be an added advantage.

    CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    • Sampling and sample collection according to procedures;
    • Receive and register samples according to procedures;
    • Handle, prepare and analyse samples according to procedures;
    • Calibrate and check equipment according to procedure;
    • Identify record and report quality problems; Maintain a safe and healthy working
