Hello... an exciting new opportunity has just come available in our Central, Parktown Park area. We are looking to recruit a Corporate Tax Manager.

Summary of Role and Context:

The tax consultant will be a member of the Tax Team, assisting all members and will be responsible for on-going compliance matters as well as ad hoc projects, supporting business and liaising with SARS.

Required Knowledge, Experience and Skills

• 5 + years of Tax experience
• Insurance tax experience would be an advantage
• Team leadership exposure would be an advantage
• Must have corporate income tax knowledge
• VAT knowledge
• Dividends tax knowledge
• Employees tax knowledge
• International tax knowledge
• Able to multi task
• Pro-active and committed to delivery, good time management skills, deadline driven
• Strong attention to detail and tenacious
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Analytical and solution driven
• Must be able to adapt, implement and enforce processes when necessary
• Understand SARS processes and expectations
• Maintain sound working relationships with business and SARS

Educational Requirements:

• Bcom with Honours
• Honours in Tax would be an advantage
