    Property Administrator

    Job description

    Small office offers diverse role. A property company with offices in the three major metros in South Africa seeks a Property Administrator to join the Johannesburg Branch in Sandton. They provide a complete offering of services to the property market, from total management to day to day supervision of buildings and the strategic management of a portfolio investment. Their small but efficient team focuses on understanding a property's life cycle and so managing it accordingly. They are looking to appointed an experienced property administrator, to work as the 'right hand' of a property manager who is seldom in the office. And so you will take full responsibility for all administrative matters relating to the drafting lease agreements, collecting FICA documents, updating of database, payments etc. You must liaise with tenants, brokers, contractors and landlords with regards to all queries and reconciliations, building up a good working relationship whilst driving best service. It will be your responsibility to ensure the owner payments are prepared and that they are correct. The leasing life cycle will fall into your responsibility with renewals and progress with the finalization of lease agreements. You must not be afraid to get involved in other aspects of the business, such as facilities, as this team roles up their sleeves and gets the job done. The ability to liaise with external stakeholders in a professional manner and ensure impeccable paperwork follows up any of these conversations is essential.     Property Manager

    Job description

    Growth provides opportunity. A property company with offices in the three major metros in South Africa seeks a Portfolio Manager to join the Johannesburg Branch in Sandton. They provide a complete offering of services to the property market, from total management to day to day supervision of buildings and the strategic management of a portfolio investment. Their small but efficient team focuses on understanding a property's life cycle and so managing it accordingly. Their Johannesburg portfolio has expanded significantly over the past year, and as such they are looking to take on board an additional property manager to assist the current two already employed to oversee the 45 buildings under management. The role is responsible for office and retail buildings all over Johannesburg, and will require you to travel constantly. You will managing the portfolio from lease negotiations for existing and new leases, preparing the annual budgets and managing the budget projections on a monthly basis; including reporting back to the client on the financial performance. You will be required to attend site meetings and carry out regular inspections on the properties along with third party contractors when needed. The portfolio manager will manage the performance of the Property Administrator, Creditors Administrator and Debtors Administrator in regards to the commercial portfolio.

    To be the ideal candidate for the role you must have a tertiary qualification in Law, Finance or Property Studies. This would require a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role. Working knowledge of MRI software will secure. Previous management skills in a property environment and the ability to work after hours when required. Own car essential!
