    Fixed Asset Buyer

    Job description

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    To coordinate and purchase all fixed assets for the store.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Coordinate appointments and managing of contractors and suppliers with regards to ventilation units (A/C and EVAPS), generators and electrical.
    • Ordering of above mentioned units as per S.O.P (Standard Operating Procedures).
    • To provide guidelines and control sheets to manage the cooling FCMP (Fully Comprehensive Maintenance Plan).
    • Manage landlord owned ventilation/cooling.
    • Update company on latest cooling and electrical trends/practices.
    • Provide input into the Sales Support budget.
    • Store visits to check installations.
    • Ad hoc projects.

    JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS

    • Grade 12 with Mathematics
    • Electrical Qualification – Minimal N3 (with subjects: Industrial Electronics, Logic systems, Electrical Trade Theory).
    • Technical working knowledge of air-conditioning, electrical and back-up electrical power.
    • Computer Literate (MS Office) and MS Access
    • Project Management skills

    Competencies required: Analytical, systematic, assertive, good communication and negotiation skills, accurate, team player, can cope with stress and take initiative.

    Special Projects and Facilities Manager

    Job description

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    To be responsible within the PEPKOR Group for coordinating primarily special property and construction projects

    from its inception to completion and oversee the facilities management function.

    KEY OUTPUTS:

    • Coordinating of special projects
    • Clear Communication with internal and external role-players and stake holders
    • Responsible for the efficient administration and related paperwork relating to special projects.
    • Feasibility proposals/submissions
    • Project budgetary control
    • Manage and lead construction professional teams
    • Client representative at project and progress meetings
    • Coordinating of facilities management
    • Client liaison with facilities service provider
    • Monitoring of facilities management at various sites in the PEPKOR Group
    • Ad hoc group projects

    JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS

    • Grade 12 with Mathematics
    • Project Management qualification
    • Construction or Building related tertiary qualification (advantageous)
    • Registration with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP) will be advantageous
    • 5 Years related experience
    • Computer literacy essential (MS Office) as well as CAD
    • Willingness to travel
