    Account Manager

    Job Description

    GTconsult is looking for a highly motivated account manager to excite and grow our existing client base at GTconsult and drive value to their accounts.

    We are seeking an Account Manager with strong interpersonal skills, problem solving abilities, deep customer affinity and communication skills, to strengthen our bond and drive sales into our existing clients based on SharePoint/Office 365 and productivity tools and offerings. 

    This is a highly visible role that requires business acumen when working with senior management, a strong understanding of the clients’ needs, whilst utilising the key resource to understand technical depth for providing great solutions to the client base. 

    Your sole responsibility is to grow the client list while retaining and delighting the current client base.

    Principal Accountabilities

    • Operate effectively as a member of the GTconsult team
    • Enforce the values of the GTconsult NO CODE brand
    • Provide insight to the nationwide Exec for Business Development of day to day operations, issues and constraints with clients
    • Account Management of key clients
    • Generate sales for a portfolio of accounts and reach the company's target
    • Identify and drive new sales opportunities within existing accounts to remain a client-account manager relationship by up-selling and cross-selling and adding value to the client.
    • Establish budgets with the client and company
    • Meet time deadlines for accounts
    • Manage contracts with clients
    • Manage monthly roadmaps to ensure priority and value add
    • Attend roadshows, conferences and promote the GTconsult offering

    Required Skills

    • 5 – 10 years’ experience in IT related background
    • The ability to communicate requirements, limitations, dependencies and timelines clearly and concisely via either e-mail, phone or in person
    • The ability to calmly work under pressure
    • Sharp analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
    • Strong experience in developing relationships with clients 
    • Solid understanding of SharePoint componentry is a nice to have
    • Understanding of drawing up budgets, targets and roadmaps
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Desire and willingness to work in a collaborative, innovative, flexible and team-oriented environment.

    Who we are looking for

    The Project Manager manages key client projects. Project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project.

    The successful candidate will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. He or she will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible and will hire new talent as needed to fulfil client needs.

    Requires a bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures. Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Perform a variety of tasks. Lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Reports to the owner of the business.     Job Responsibilities

    •   Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
    •   Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
    •   Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

    Requirements

    SharePoint Developer

    JOB SUMMARY

    This person could be based anywhere in South Africa, however as GTconsult has offices in Cape Town and Durban, those locations are preferable. We are looking for an experienced individual as this role is involved in the entire project lifecycle, including speaking to clients, creating specification documents based on client requirements, architecting and building solutions, and will involve much autonomous working. As a senior member of the team, they will mentor junior members, assist with technical issues and handle escalations.

    The successful applicant will be someone who has excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing. They will have a proven background in developing solutions in SharePoint, Power Apps and Power Automate, and be able to articulate how those solutions have benefited the business.

    Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to learn quickly in various technical and creative environments, while delivering quality work by tight deadlines, are key attributes of this individual.

    PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Responsible for ensuring that client expectations and deliverables are met on time and in high quality
    • Assist in day to day architecting and solution design
    • Act as a technical lead for regional projects and resolve technical issues that may arise during project execution
    • Consult with clients to determine Functional and Technical requirements and specifications
    • Compile Functional Specifications for all projects within region and ensure that these are discussed with the delivery team prior to development phase of the project
    • Compile Technical Specifications for internal use where need or required
    • Assist development team in daily tasks and act as the final escalation point for project issues and support tickets within region
    • Mentor junior team members on solutions and best practices
    • Be proficient in building workflows using Microsoft Flow and SharePoint Designer.
    • Be proficient in building custom forms, using Microsoft PowerApps, InfoPath, or custom HTML with lightweight jQuery if needed.
    • Build front-end SharePoint solutions using the latest HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks
    • Be proficient in configuring SharePoint using OOTB functionality
    • Be proficient in building SharePoint page layouts, search configuration, custom web parts, master pages, etc.
    • Understand the limitations and best practices of customizing SharePoint
    • Be familiar with the limitations of SharePoint Online and SharePoint On-Premise
    • Always attend daily standup meetings and raise project issues and concerns with Project Manager
    • Assist with client support queries and provide professional feedback to clients when dealing with support requests
    • Ensure that daily timesheets are captured
    • Complete the necessary training assigned by Manager within the agreed timelines
    • In the event of absence ensure that support and project handovers are done in full

    REQUIRED SKILLS

    • Extensive SharePoint knowledge both on premises and online versions is essential.
    • 2+ years’ experience in the following technologies:
      • Power Automate (Microsoft Flow)
      • PowerApps and building Apps and Forms
      • Microsoft Teams
    • Office 365 / Azure experience is beneficial.
    • BS / BA university degree or design diploma a plus but not required.
    • Experience in developing websites and/or web applications.
    • Minimum of 4 years of web design and development experience with portfolio is required. Solid understanding of navigation and GUI for maximizing usability.
    • Front-end and back-end development experience beneficial. More important is the experience of seamless integration of front-to back-end functionality.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Desire and willingness to work in a collaborative, innovative, flexible and team-oriented environment.
    • REST API knowledge/integration.
    • Experience in creating workflows using SharePoint Designer.
    • Ability to understand the limits of out of the box.
    • Must be capable in leading workshops with customers to understand their needs
    • Agile/Scrum experience is a plus
