    Sales Enablement Officer

    We will rely on you to:

    • Execution of Sales Strategy - supporting sales strategy development, building a sales analytics division, ensuring alignment with key leaders, driving operational excellence, and leading discussions on sales financials
    • Market Orientation - building an industry sales approach, understanding clients' value drivers, creating a sales enablement process, and conducting competitor analysis to stay informed about the competition
    • Funnel Management and Forecasting - leading the development of sales financial packs, participating in sales forecasting, analyzing performance, and driving the development of data and analytics to support financial management and drive growth.
    • Communicates and reports to senior level colleagues on the territory sales performance, contributing market and product insights and coordinating across sales functions to gain business insights and growth opportunities.
    • Prepare monthly and quarterly stakeholders reporting for Sales.

    What you need to have:

    • Bachelor’s degree, postgraduate studies in insurance (beneficial)
    • Strong strategic thinking

    • Sound knowledge of insurance and business sectors
    • Great communication skills, collaborator, influencer.

    Client Executive (Trade Credit) – Stellenbosch

    We will rely on you to:

    • Understand the Client’s business issues, credit insurance programs and service plans
    • Actively source and market trade credit insurance internally and externally
    • Achieve pre-agreed new business target
    • Strive to deliver best practise, market leading service and solutions
    • Ensure successful renewal of insurance contracts as per the Marsh Trade Credit Professional Standards.
    • Conduct service calls, pre-renewal and renewal meetings. Identify the client’s trade credit needs and objectives
    • Request and analyse underwriting information and Insurer documentation.
    • Prepare and submit accurate market presentations.
    • Collate and negotiate renewal terms with existing and prospective insurers
    • Assist in preparation of client renewal reports
    • Manage declarations, collection and settlement of commissions or fees
    • Preparation of budget for portfolio and understanding the importance of client profitability, with attention to monthly forecasting
    • Keep abreast with the insurance markets (both local and overseas).
    • Fostering of sound working relationships with other functional business units.
    • Familiarity and compliance with all company policies, statutory and regulatory requirements.
    • Ensure that technical, claims and service delivery standards are properly implemented for the client in terms of quality management systems.

    What you need to have: 

    • Proven experience in similar role within broking
    • FAIS Compliant/RE 5 Completed
    • Excellent negotiating skills
    • General knowledge of specialist classes of insurance
    • Ability to broker high complexity accounts in the local insurance market
    • Basic knowledge of risk financing techniques, risk management principles, and reinsurance mechanics

    What makes you stand out?

    • Trade Credit insurance or related credit experience advantageous
