    Digital Brand Manager

    Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of a Digital Brand Manager  to be based at McCain Rosebank office, Gauteng. The successful candidate will report to the Category Executive.

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

    To take a lead role in the development and execution of effective digital marketing - aligned to Masterbrand positioning. Amplify all activations (consumer & shopper) utilizing digital ecosystem.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

    Manage Agency Relationship;

    • Manage day to day relationship with digital agency
    • Briefings linked to all activity – amplifications as well as digital campaigns.
    • Track campaign KPIs.
    • Manage outputs required from agency within scope of work and timelines / burn reports.

    Digital Strategy;

    • Develop the Digital strategy aligned to Masterbrand positioning and purpose.
    • Digital strategy to articulate.
    • Who is our audience?
    • Content strategy (messaging) and 
    • Platform utilization.

    Digital Ecosystem Management;

    • Develop & manage content calendar per communication pillar and platform;
    • Including submissions for internal communication & sustainability;
    • Manage development and storage of digital assets.
    • Manage effective SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and SMM (Social Media Marketing).
    • Monthly reporting on performance of each platform.

    Develop dashboard for 

    • Month forecast % achieved vs Full year target, 
    • Spend to date vs Full year target, 
    • pictures of competitors activities & 
    • Activations Completed and results to date

    Influencer Strategy;

    • Clearly articulate strategy for use of influencers – role of macro and micro.
    • Manage the influencers internally with clearly defined outputs and KPIs linked to demand creation.

    e-Commerce / B2B;

    • Support Category team with digital applications linked to e-Commerce e.g. Adimo;
    • Continue to develop Insider’s Club and leverage this platform to build connection with food service operators and drive sales.

    Budget Management

    • Manage spend (pacing and tracking) within budget guidelines;
    • Manage the payment process within business rules and processes (Coupa process).

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    • Matric or equivalent.
    • BCom Degree in Marketing.
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Marketing, with preferably 2/3 years in Digital.
    • In-depth understanding of Consumer & Digital marketing.

    Industrial Refrigeration Technician

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

    This role is responsible for the mechanical and electrical operation and maintenance ammonia plants, air compressors and water supply. This includes ammonia equipment in plant rooms, cold storage facilities, freezing tunnels and water supply at the manufacturing facility.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Preventative maintenance on ammonia compressors, cold rooms, potato stores, seed stores and all related refrigeration equipment.
    • Fault-finding and repairs on refrigeration systems and cold rooms.
    • Preventative maintenance on air compressors
    • Legal compliance of all aspects of the refrigeration plant.
    • Main water supply tanks and borehole operations and inspections.

    REQUIREMENTS:

     

    • Atleast a Matric and N3 certificate (N3 electromechanical)
    • Red Seal as in Ammonia Refrigeration and or Millwright
    • Registered as a Category B Technician with SAQCCgas
    • Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role in the Food Industry
    • Good faultfinding skills in electrical/mechanical.
    • Service and overhaul reciprocating compressors.
    • Knowledge of freezing tunnels.
    • knowledge of SANS10147.
    • Able to operate service and repair all ammonia refrigeration equipment.
