    Solution Architect -AM/M

    The Opportunity

    • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Solutions Architect to join our Technology Consulting team. As a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing technology solutions that meet the business requirements of our clients. You will work closely with our clients and cross-functional teams to identify, analyse, and define their technology needs and develop strategies to achieve their goals.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Analyse client requirements and design technology solutions that meet their business needs
    • Develop detailed technical specifications and diagrams for technology solutions
    • Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, project managers, and business analysts to ensure solutions are developed and delivered on time and within budget
    • Conduct technology assessments and provide recommendations to improve system performance and scalability
    • Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals and provide advice on how technology solutions can help achieve those goals
    • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices to ensure our solutions are cutting-edge

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related fields
    • 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect
    • Proven experience designing and developing complex technology solutions
    • Strong knowledge of enterprise-level technology stacks and architectures, including cloud-based technologies
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Experience in providing technical leadership and mentoring to junior team members
    • Practical experience in Architecture Governance / Technical Design Authority
    • Experience in identifying client needs and the ability to reason logically and creatively to provide options and recommendations to resolve problems.
    • Experience in transitioning from On Premise to Cloud architectures from Microsoft, Amazon, SAP, Oracle.

    Ideally, you’ll also have

    • Experience working within Architectural frameworks and standards such as TOGAF, IASA, ArchiMate or hold equivalent certifications.
    • Experience in applying architecture in an agile/product-centric environment. E.g. SAFe

    The Role Description

    •  As a manager in our Strategy & Transformation team you will work across Business Consulting and EY Parthenon Strategy to define and lead end to end transformation engagements.
    •  You will work with client executive teams to design, define and establish large scale agile transformation programs that drive growth and deliver long term value. You will support business development, creating proposals and participating in solution development and helping delivering market leading ideas and proposals to clients.
    •  You will manage high performing teams, coach junior team members and develop the careers of colleagues.
