    Senior Credit Controller

    Role purpose:

    • To effectively collect outstanding debt and prevent Bad Debt for Vodacom Government, Corporate, Business, Merchant and Consumer collection portfolio and ensure that the accounts are paid when due
    • To assist and empower other Vodacom Departments on Collections calls via Real- time Helpdesk in a Blended Contact Centre environment  

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • To minimise bad debt
    • To follow up on non-payments
    • To negotiate payments on accounts
    • Make split second decisions on locking and unlocking’s
    • To collect 100% of targets
    • To liaise with 3rd parties to resolve account disputes involves meetings and negotiation with CEO’s, FM’s IT Managers
    • Ability to liaise with EHODS & Executives
    • Work under extreme and constant pressure
    • Ability to summarise account status in once glance and negotiate with debtor telephonically
    • Contact Centre and Dialler Acumen

    People Capability Lead

    Role purpose:

    • The organization is currently going through a transformation journey to transform from Telco to Tech-Co, and therefore the purpose of this role is to shape and drive a skills transformation agenda that aligns and answers to the organisation’s requirement of transforming and building a future ready workforce, that as has the skills of the future. The organisation operates in the bigger South African context with a broader skills transformation agenda; therefore, the role will also need to ensure our investment is aligned and contributing toward relevant EE/BBB-EE obligations.  

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Setting up a skills transformation framework for VSA and defining a common standard on what is scares and critical for the different business units in the organisation
    • Using the 14 digital capabilities; work with BU leaders to define each business unit’s skills profile of the future 
    • Using the Business Strategy as a blueprint; work with HRBP teams and BU Leaders to set capability priorities guided by an integrated approach to build/buy/borrow TM strategies 
    • Working with TM and HRBPs to set a measurement tool/metrics on how performance and impact/ROI will be tracked on all investments made in capability building 
    • Leading the Budget Management process end to end and ensuring that the investments are aligned with skills transformation priorities, as well fulfil regulatory requirements.  
    • Partnering with BU Leaders where relevant to ensure operational/customer facing training is delivered according to business needs
    • Working with internal stakeholders to translate and execute where internal staff training may be required 
    • Strategic business partnering with HRBP community and other key stakeholders to ensure business impact/ROI is achieved

    Senior Specialist: CVM Capability

    Role Purpose

    • The Senior Specialist: VBCVM Intelligent Selling Capability provides strategic business analysis outputs to VBCVM key stakeholders and directly to the Intelligent Selling Capability Squad.
    • The Senior Specialist: VBCVM Intelligent Selling Capability maximizes the effectiveness of the Product Owner and CVM Leaders by supporting the creation of user stories to an adequate level of granularity, assessing options for technical and business feasibility, and ensuring development is aligned to business outcomes.
    • The Senior Specialist: VBCVM Intelligent Selling Capability is responsible for providing business information during release and iteration planning, as well as supporting the review, refine and re-prioritization of the release backlog.
    • The Senior Specialist: VBCVM Intelligent Selling Capability role provides regular feedback by testing deliverables against a user story’s acceptance criteria and provides regular feedback by validating that the product meets the business goals.

    Your Responsibilities Will Include

    • Work with the Product Owner and VBCVM leaders to clarify initiatives and business value outcomes.
    • Work with the Product Owner and VBCVM leaders to define and prioritise the user stories aligned to the capability roadmap, providing a systems perspective.
    • Ensure user stories are broken down to an adequate level of detail for execution by engineering.
    • Clarify user stories questions with team members.
    • Own and drive the responsibility to develop business cases (including costs and business value estimates) for PI initiatives and track PI implementations benefits.
    • Support the development of and execution of acceptance tests based on acceptance criteria, verifying stories meet acceptance criteria.
    • Work with Product Owner and VBCVM leaders to review, update and re-prioritize team backlog.
    • Identify improvement opportunities, both proactively and reactively
    • Elicit and clearly document business and systems requirements
    • Assess business process and system inefficiencies impacting CVM value chain. Example hotleads process, QlikSense leads dashboards, etc.
    • Identify ways to increase adoption and sales teams’ satisfaction on CVM capabilities and support.
    • Analyse and report delivery risks and opportunities.
    • Facilitate engagement with stakeholders for communications and decision-making.
    • Continuously update the delivery team in case of business changes.

    The Ideal Candidate For This Role Will Have

    Technical / professional qualifications:

    • Matric/Grade 12 (Essential)
    • Bachelor’s/Honour’s Degree in quantitative fields like Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems and/or ICT.
    • At minimum 5 – 8 years of business analysis work experience, including project management and SAFE Agile methodologies.

    Senior Specialist: VB Loyalty

    Role Purpose

    • To develop and implement an end to end loyalty program across all Vodacom Business segments to drive decreased churn, longer tenure and higher NPS through building emotional engagement.

    Your Responsibilities Will Include

    • Design and Manage the Vodacom Business Loyalty Programme
    • Design VB Loyalty programme aligned to VB key focus areas
    • Assist with defining systems enhancements in line with key targets.
    • Drive delivery of system enhancements to support the customer experience strategy.
    • Enablement of the Programme through various customer channels and internal capabilities
    • Create functional and operational processes to support the programme

    • Report on new reward and loyalty projects and feedback on progress (areas of improvement/successes/ impact on NPS/BMS) to Senior Stakeholders
    • Reporting and Monitoring of Loyalty initiatives vs Business Case
    • Manage and Enable Loyalty Campaigns
    • Engage with stakeholders within Loyalty and CVM teams to enable campaigns
    • Enable campaign implementation and execution
    • To manage third party loyalty programs and support the program post launch
    • Memo writing and logging the projects with Central demand management
    • Manage third party requirements and provide status updates
    • Liaise with internal business stakeholders to manage implementation and execution
    • Conduct end to end integration testing

    Technical / Professional Qualifications

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    • 3-year Degree / Diploma in Commerce (Marketing / Communication) or related
    • A minimum of 5 - 8 Years’ experience in marketing with sufficient exposure to reward/loyalty programs
    • Proven experience in the set up and running of end-to-end loyalty programmes including conception, analysis, establishment and execution of these programmes
    • Project management experience is advantageous
    • Business Intelligence technology / industry and future trends
    • Telecoms Industry Knowledge and trends – Mobile Communications

    Core Competencies, Knowledge And Experience

    • Goal focussed with track record in implementing and leading loyalty initiatives across an organisation
