    SAP Finance Solutions Architect

    Job Role

    Reporting to the SAP Enterprise Architect, perform solution architecture functions across different domains (Business, Information, Data, Application, Technology & Security).

    Work alongside the enterprise architect to ensure solutions being implemented conform to the Group enterprise goals, standards, and governance frameworks and are fit for purpose from a business and technical perspective.

    Responsibilities

    • Business and technical stakeholder engagement and elicitation of business and technology goals, objectives, priorities, and requirements.
    • Translation of business and technical requirements into a solution architecture to be implemented (to address both business and technical requirements).
    • Design and validate a complex solution architecture to address business and technical requirements and ensure successful implementation.
    • Research new solutions to address a specific or general business problem.
    • Design solution integration architecture to address business and technical requirements and ensure successful implementation.
    • Provide solution advisory, recommendations, and guidance on the SAP Finance platforms (SAP S/4HANA Finance, SAP Insurance Analyser, SAP GRC, SAP Data Services, etc.).
    • Contribute to the strategic planning and architecture definition of Group SAP Finance landscape.
    • Understand and interpret the business processes for which the solution architecture is being developed.
    • Influence business and IT strategies ensuring collaborative alignment.
    • Contribute to building Group SAP Finance technical and application roadmaps (both for on-prem and in the cloud).
    • Active involvement and provide guidance in the SAP Finance landscape system migration or upgrades
    • Document the overall Solution Architecture and integration to other systems in line with the Group Enterprise and Solution Architecture standards and practices.
    • Present solutions architecture to different Group forums (including the Group Architecture Solutions Evaluation & Review forum).

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    • Matric
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent will be strongly recommended.

    Experience

    • 7 + years of SAP Finance Solution Architecture experience.
    • Experience SAP S/4 HANA Finance, SAP Insurance Analyser, SAP GRC, SAP Data Services, etc. required.
    • Architecture Knowledge and/or Certification (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman, etc.) required.
    • Cloud Architecture experience will be beneficial.

    Knowledge

    SAP Finance Specialist - CO

    Job Role

    • As a team player in the Group, you will be required to deliver system design, configuration and testing services relating to SAP S/4HANA Management Accounting (CO).
    • Deliver expertise in support of business-as-usual system changes, for both standard and bespoke using the SAP S/4HANA Controlling solution, including the SAP Fiori applications.
    • Act as subject matter expert on the latest SAP development tools and provide expert technical advice to business analysts and business stakeholders in search of SAP system solutions.

    The role requires a deep technical understanding of the integration of the Controlling module with the following SAP modules/functionality:

    • Finance (FI)
    • Procurement (MM)
    • Sales & Distribution (SD)
    • Master Data Governance (MDG)
    • Analysis for Office (A4O) reporting
    • Fiori applications
    • Integration tools: iDocs, Web Services, etc.

    Responsibilities

    • SAP S/4 Hana Management Accounting (CO) application design, development, integration, testing and deployment.
    • CO Customizing and implementation of solutions, with a specific focus on Cost centre  & Profit Centre accounting, allocation & assessment (including the Universal Allocations), profitability analysis and Analysis for Office (A4O) reporting
    • Business As Usual (BAU) support
    • Analysis for Office (A4O) reporting
    • Interacting with clients at all levels to understand the business requirements to prepare the functional specifications.
    • Identify, assess and solve complex business problems for area of responsibility.
    • Closely follow the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near-term goals.
    • Interact with senior management on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach.
    • Have some latitude in decision-making act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors Degree in Information Systems / Information Technology or a Bachelors degree in Commerce.

    Experience

    • More than 6 years of experience as an SAP CO Consultant with at least one end-to-end implementation project and support experience.
    • S/4 HANA CO configuration Experience
    • Strong Record to Report (RTR) experience 
    • Experience with Cost Centre/Profit Centre Accounting, Profitability Analysis, Overhead Assessments and settlements.
    • Experience with A4O Analytics
    • Extensive experience with FI/CO integration with other process modules, including Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM)

    Knowledge

    • Extensive knowledge of S/4 HANA Management Accounting (CO) solution.
    • Working functional MM knowledge.

    Job Role

    • Design IT solutions for Enterprise supporting P2P, Q2C, and SD business processes in alignment with the company’s strategic vision.
    • Support the Business as Usual through the process of Jira incidents.
    • Manage Business workshops and business interactions for SAP MM and SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) solution adoption. E.G experience with KOFAX.
    • Interacting with clients at all levels to understand the business requirements to prepare the functional specification, configuration, testing, migration, support, and continuous enhancements.

    • SAP MM or SD certification is preferred (but not required if you have sufficient experience in the MM domain).

    Experience

    • More than 8 years of experience as an SAP MM/SD Consultant with at least 2 end-to-end Implementation of Projects and Support experience.
    • Experience in SAP Procurement and Supply Chain Management.
    • Configuration Experience.
    • Strong Background and hands on experience on SAP P2P, Q2C, Order management, SCM Products required.
    • Must have proven SAP/4 HANA Procurement skills, and Sourcing including good issuing and receipting principles.
    • Must have proven Q2C skills: Quotation Management, Contract Management, Sales Order Processing, Distribution, Billing and Pricing Management.
    • Proven ability to work in Business-as-Usual BAU “Run” environment.
    • Must have proven Master Data management skills in the Procurement area.
    • Working experience with Solution Manager, JIRA, Confluence.

    Knowledge
