    Consultant, Communication & Digital Design

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Lead in the graphic design

    • Development of physical and digital design materials including branding assets, exhibitions, reports, presentations, and toolkits.
    • Support CHNW Risk business units to create and curation of campaign clips and short films or animation.
    • Design physical and digital branded materials and adaptations of visual content for the events.
    • Produce and manage digital content for the events/initiatives such as Website/SharePoint, Yammer, videos, posters, presentations, etc.
    • Coordinate the overall production process for physical and digital materials, including liaising with Marketing and other partners.

    Communication Support

    • Determines communications strategy and execute programs to deliver communications objectives throughout the organization, inclusive of delivery of corporate culture and business strategy
    • Develop and coordinate technical aspects for events such as livestreaming (Live Teams Events/Blue Jeans), internal publications such as newsletters, email announcements, planned publications, intranet, video, special projects and assignments.
    • To ensure that our internal intranet reflects our employer brand, culture and continues to be a relevant and useful platform for employees.

    Manager, Baseline & Quality, RES

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Develop and maintain the industrial design blueprints, outlining the specifications for manufactured products. Integrate security, safety, business, operational, engineering and marketing requirements into the technical requirements of the design. Provide specialist technical expertise to the Standard Bank Group Procurement Function and participate in the appointment of industrial design suppliers and vendors. Provide oversight and manage the portfolio of external industrial designers

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Qualifications:

    • A Degree Design Studies Required.
    • A tertiary degree in Industrial Design would be a minimum requirement for this job.

    Experience:

    • Industrial Design skills and experience would be required. Collaborate with engineering, security, marketing and frontline end-users to innovate, design and implement RES product solutions, ensuring that quality standards meet strategic objectives.
    • Required 5-7 years Operational knowledge of Procurement processes and analysis of tenders. Familiarity with cost management. Ability to evaluate potential suppliers using criteria such as industry experience, capacity, quality standards and financial stability. Explain the Bank's expectations and standards and negotiate contract terms with vendors, in conjunction with Procurement.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Understand the business strategy and priorities for retail banking to determine the industrial design requirements Develop, maintain, and manage the industrial design blueprints based on the asset lifecycle which includes specifications regarding design, materials, measurements, warrantees, installation methodologies, total cost of ownership for maintenance, source suppliers and pricing Integrate client experience, security and brand requirements into technical requirements for the industrial design blueprints/ baseline Develop financial business cases to assess the total cost of ownership for industrial design projects, leverage existing business case templates Research the latest trends within the construction and design environment, to ensure the current baseline remains relevant and aligned to best practices.
    • Leverage industry trends to identify cost efficiency opportunities Review the product life cycles with regard to functional and physical attributes as well as performance and cost with a view of improved performance, reliability, extended life and reduced cost.
    • Evaluate all change requests and proposals and present recommendations for review at the baseline control meeting in order to enable effective decision making. Evaluate product safety, appearance, and function to determine if a design is practical Continuously update the required industry design blueprints (including the Visuals Standards Manual, Bill of Quantities documentation, interactive product catalogue) and communicate all baseline design changes to Turnkey Contractors, Suppliers and internal Design team to ensure all stakeholders are kept informed Assume ownership for the review and update of the risk issues and action items requiring revision throughout the industrial design process.
