    Senior Consultant Strategy (Life Science & Healthcare)

    Job Description
    Roles and responsibilities

    Identifying and interpreting C-level client problems, focusing on answering key questions and adding value to the problems at hand. These may be more general consulting questions, organisation design, business strategy, to more Life Science and Health Care specific questions; specific market entry strategy for medical products. Understanding and engaging with medical supply chain issues. Data analysis and interpretation of Life Science and Health Care data. As a senior consultant, part of the role will be managing your own workstreams. Assistant senior leadership with solving the overall questions.  Managing and leading small teams and effective analysis of data.     Job Description

    Main Purpose of the job:

    As an experienced Contract Manager, you will serve as a trusted advisor to the Deloitte Consulting project leadership teams on strategic contract matters during the delivery of specific large-scale, high-risk projects within the Public and Private Services sectors.     Tax & Legal - Business Tax - Assistant Manager

    Job Description

    Support engagement Manager and/or Partner/Director in delivery of services to clients on delegated engagement/project. In your role as an Assistant Manager in the Business Tax Team, you may:

    • Perform tax specialist accrual reviews as part of external audit/review engagements with a focus on current tax and deferred tax.
    • Prepare and/or review income tax computations for inclusion in the annual financial statements of clients.
    • Prepare and/or review income tax return submissions, including related return submissions (e.g. provisional tax return/IT14SD/etc submissions) and supporting documentation.
    • Assist clients with responses to SARS tax queries as may be required from time to time.
    • Liaise with SARS as may be required on various client tax matters.
    • Assist with providing tax support to local taxpayers and multinationals in a variety of jurisdictions.     Project Services Accountant (Financial Advisory ) - Internal Client Services - Finance

    Job Description

    Main Purpose of Job

    • Effective delivers Project Services (PS) administration services to the business (as per dedicated Service Line) for engagements that are simple or small in nature or in support of Service Lines that have large volumes but are less complex in nature
    • Ensure that PS processes are run correctly

    Differentiators for this specific role

    Project Services Accountants will be responsible for the end-to-end management of projects including, but not limited to:

    • Assists Business in collating the required information (such as the project plan, billing schedule and resourcing) to open a project code
    • Verifies accuracy and completeness of information required to open project codes
    • Enforces compliance of governance requirements in the way that codes are opened
    • Communicates code governance requirements to business as and where needed
    • Escalates non-compliance to direct report
    • Ensures that the correct contract type is selected in order for the correct revenue recognition methodology to be followed

    • Experience using the suite of Microsoft Office software (Excel and Word and PowerPoint).
    • Experience using at least a minimum 1 of the following technologies (SAS/R/Python/or similar).
    • Experience using relevant data tools (PowerPivot and/or Power Query and/or SQL or similar).
    • Some experience in Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence or Analytical Modelling.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
    • Consulting experience will be advantageous.
    • Experience using Business Intelligence Platforms will be advantageous (Power BI/Tableau/QlikView/other similar).
    • Cloud experience would be advantageous (Azure/AWS/GCP/Other).
    • Other programming/coding skills are advantageous (e.g. Dax/VBA/Other).
