    Desktop support specialist (KZN)

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Receive service desk request on helpdesk application or phone
    • Provide 1st land 2nd level support
    • Close incident 
    • Escalate unresolved incidents 
    • Follow-up of escalated incidents with users 
    • Set-up of new PC’s for users (incl. set-up of office equipment cabling)
    • Assist with administration of Intranet for allocated users 
    • User support training / coaching 
    • Supplier liaison with regard to IT equipment 

    Minimum Requirements

    • 2 years experience in a desktop support environment 
    • Grade 12 plus A+ / N+ / MCTS qualification

    HR Assistant - Audit (based in our Gqeberha office) - 12 month Fixed Term Contract

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Assist with all graduate recruitment initiatives and events
    • Make arrangements for and assist with the facilitation of employee inductions, vacation work programmes, and job shadow opportunities
    • Monitor performance and academic progression of trainees
    • Logistical and administrative arrangements for staff training
    • Liaise with the recruitment team regarding Gqeberha vacancies and offers
    • Liaise and work with the relevant service line’s HRBP and provide all necessary information
    • Assist with interviews, performance counselling and industrial relations processes
    • Monitor and manage leave, study assistance, salary deductions etc according to the firm’s policies

    Tax Compliance Officer (Corporate)

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Gather and collate tax related information from the audit and accountingdepartmentand clients in order to complete the following corporatereturns
    • ITR14
    • IT4SD
    • IRP6,1ST,2ND AND 3rd
    • DTR01 and DTR02
    • WT002 returns and reconciliations
    • Prepare the ITR14, IT4SD returns and supporting documents and IRP6 returns
    • Prepare corporate tax computations and review computationsprepared for tax compliance
    • Recociliation of assessments(include objectionsand appeals) 
    • Attend to all relatedqueries/objections and appeals (N00.NOA, ADR1)
    • Apply for tax clearnce certificate (Good standing and tender) via SARS E-filing
    • Complete DWT retuns (DTR01 & DTRR02) as well as WT002 MONTHLY, Bi annual and annual returns for review.
    • Ensure quality control of corporate returns by preparing a completed corporate check list whenpreparing returns for review
    • Achieve the yearlyKPI's set out inthe following areas:
    • Product hours
    • Tax returns submitted/outsanding
    • fees billed
    • WIP management
    • Register clientsfor income tax with SARS(IT77C)
    • Mange individual productivityby achieving the agreed productive hours

    Minimum Requirements

    • At least 1-3 years relevant tax compliance experience with specific emphasis or corporate/companies tax compliance
    • Grade 12 (Bachelors degree advantageous)
    • Tax or other relevant BCom qualification and Tax
    • Workable knowledge of key elements of the income tax acte.g Capital gains tax, general allowances and specialallowances, etc
    • Experience SARS E-filing
    • Able to remainefficient when under pressure
    • Deadline orientated with minimum supervision required 
    • Able to planprioritise and organise workload and numerous client portfolios
    • Solution orientated and able to overcome setbacks
