    Warehouse Specialist

    Role Description

    The Warehouse Specialist coordinates the activities of the Inventory function to ensure effective Inventory management according to organizational objectives and client needs. The role reports to the Procurement Manager

    Education and Experience Requirements

    • National Diploma / B. Com degree (Procurement/Supply Chain) or any other relevant qualifications
    • At least 5 years’ experience in Warehouse and Stock Administration in a mining environment.
    • Broad business awareness and commercial orientation gained from experience in a large industrial environment.
    • Must have SAP MRP experience.

    Job Requirements

    • Safety: ensure adherence to the company's safety and environmental management programmes and policies.
    • Operational Results: develop, review and maintain Company policies and procedures to ensure the implementation with appropriate departmental procedures, operating procedures and systems according to organizational objectives. Assist in compiling a work area's budget by providing information based on operational requirements; manage and coordinate the Inventory and Logistics function responsibly and cost effectively; ensure the loading and capturing of all deliveries; review "System Driven Recommended Order Quantities", and make adjustments in accordance with sound business and operational principles. Physical generation of stock replenishment orders; manage inventory according to operational requirements, calculated inventory levels, obsolescence principles and legislative requirements ensuring adherence to policies, procedures and best practice; Manage inventory according Responsible for managing: Inventory levels; Stock accuracy; Obsolescence; Disposal; Legislative compliance; correct storing and preservation; receiving; issuing; returns, repairs; applicable expediting; inbound logistics; outbound logistics; systems; codification; quality; SHE; internal governance; Assist procurement to resolve queries; Incorporate an all-inclusive Warehouse Management Program based on the principles of effective and economic flow of goods i.e. receiving, issuing, holding, storing, dispatch; perpetual and periodic stock count, report, analyse, review and present information to internal stakeholders.
    • Self-Management Results: Follow up and track goods received vouchers (GRV’s).
    • Leadership Results: Personal conduct meets Company’s values/ethics requirements; Control the allocation of work to ensure the achievement of results according to work area objectives.
    • Development Results: Continuously exchange and monitor the protection of information between operations and individuals to ensure effective knowledge management according to organisational objectives; Share / transfer knowledge and information to strengthen capability in the peer team.
    • Relationship Results: Builds relationships across disciplines by sharing business information and knowledge to enable the attainment of operational objectives.
    • Innovation Results: Identify opportunities and implement initiatives to ensure optimum material and equipment availability.

    Communications Practitioner

    Role Description

    The purpose of the role is to support the broader Corporate Affairs vision and strategy related to marketing and communication. The role entails but not limited to writing, editorial and communication responsibilities. The role reports to the Communications Specialist

    Education and Experience Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Communication Science/Public Relations Management/Marketing Management
    • Minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience in the corporate communications field
    • Strong Marketing, Branding & Events Management experience is essential
    • Experience working on a website and intranet content management
    • Experience in an internal publishing environment, with knowledge and practical experience of working with various desktop publishing packages to write, edit and produce a range of internal company publications
    • Highly experienced in working across all social media platforms, creating content and monitoring/evaluating social media chatter that affects the corporate environment.
    • Experience working with multiple internal “customers” to deliver content that meets needs; experience working with external marketing partners

    Job Requirements

    • Supporting Internal & External Communication activities.
    • Supporting Events Management: Branding and other event support activities.
    • Supporting communication writing activities as delegated, including for the internal and external newsletters.
    • Supporting update of company website and communication channels
    • Supporting the management of external vendors contracted by the Communications department, including ensuring that payments are timely made to these vendors.
    • With a strong focus on branding: Ensure the procurement and distribution of promotional material for the mine.
    • Support internal branding activities of the mine, including procurement of branding material and ensuring visible Wesizwe and Bakubung Platinum branding within the mine premises.
    • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

    Skills Required

    • Strong project management and organizational skills
    • Proven superb writing, messaging, copywriting and storytelling skills in long and short-form content formats; ability to write in different styles and voices for varied audiences (a portfolio of recent, attributable examples of writing may be required for review)
    • Intermediate to expert skills with publishing packages
    • Excellent media management skills with strong media release and editorial article writing capability and track record (a portfolio of recent, attributable examples of media release and editorial article writing may be required for review)
    • Excellent work ethic, schedule flexibility and the ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines
    • Commitment to quality, accuracy, and consistency including adherence to brand standards
    • Intermediate to Expert skills with content management systems, basic HTML, web analytics, email marketing platforms, social media management tools and SEO
    • Ability to self-direct as well as work in a team-oriented environment that includes meetings, discussions and research
