    Desktop Technician

    Description 

    Icebolethu Group is looking for an objective Desktop Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our computer systems, ensuring smooth and efficient operations as well as day-to-day helpdesk support. The role will be based at our Offices at No.: 225 uMbilo Road, Durban within the Group ICT Department a Division of Icebolethu Group.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Matric Certificate - (Grade 12 or equivalent).
    • A+ & N+ Certification.
    • Diploma/Degree in Information Technology or related field.
    • Valid Driver’s License.

    Experience and Knowledge required.

    • Minimum of 3 to 5 Years of Proven Network Experience.
    • Proven experience as a Desktop Technician or in a similar role.
    • Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
    • knowledge to Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, peripherals, and software.
    • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

    Skills and Competencies required.

    • Document and track Issues and resolutions.
    • Local Area Network (LAN) installations and troubleshooting
    • PC/Laptop hardware repairs
    • Mobile device support (Android & Apple)
    • Security solutions (Antivirus, Malware, Ransomware)

    Key Performance Areas

    • Installs, diagnoses, repairs, maintains, and upgrades PC hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance.
    • Troubleshoots and resolves desktop-related issues promptly.
    • Supports Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, and network connectivity.
    • IT help desk support in demonstrating and delivering excellent ICT services to users.
    • Diagnose and resolve technical, hardware and software issues.
    • Resolve helpdesk tickets as assigned, adhering to relevant SLA's.
    • Research solutions to incidents and problems using available information resources and advise users on appropriate action.
    • Installation and maintenance of structured local area network at both new and existing sites.
    • To maintain confidentiality and observe data protection and associated guidelines where appropriate.
    • Ensuring that all ICT policies and procedures are being adhered to by users of ICT resources at all levels.

    Junior Internal Auditor

    Description

    Icebolethu Group is currently looking for an objective candidate to fill the position of Junior Internal Auditor on a fixed-term basis for a period of seven (7) months. The Successful incumbent will be expected to add value and improve operations by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. The successful candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and sound judgement.  The position is based in our Group Internal Audit Department within Icebolethu Group.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Diploma or Degree in Internal Auditing or related field of study.
    • Registered member with the International Internal Auditing Standards (IIA) Advantageous.

    Experience and Knowledge required.

    • A Minimum of two to four (2/4) years of working experience in a similar role.

    Skills and Competencies required.

    • Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software and databases.
    • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports.
    • Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules, and regulations.
    • High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
    • Sound independent judgement.

    Key Performance Areas

    • Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations.
    • Obtain, analyze, and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts etc.
    • Prepare and present reports that reflect audit results and document process.
    • Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality, and goal achievement.
    • Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings.
    • Maintain open communication with management and audit committee.
    • Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum.
    • Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions.
    • Engage with the client during the execution of the audit in order to obtain necessary information or to clear audit exceptions
    • Prepare audit files either electronically or manually for all projects with necessary working papers for the audit procedures performed and sign them off
    • Communicate all project challenges to the manager for intervention
    • Exercise diligence and professionalism in the execution of all audit assignments and ensure completion of all projects within set timelines.
    • Review management comments and action plans to ensure that it addresses the control deficiencies raised
    • Obtain evidence supporting the audit results
    • Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards.

    Human Resources Business Partner

    Description

    We are calling for suitable candidates to apply for the permanent position of the HR Business Partner who will be required to provide human capital advice and support to Business Leadership and their respective teams (staff).

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources / Human Sciences / Organisational or Industrial Psychology or other related degree qualification.
    • Registration with the SA Board for People Practices (SABPP) is preferred.
    • Valid Driver’s License

    • Advise, coach, and support line managers and staff on full range of HR function services, including employee relations, performance management, recruitment and selection, job evaluation, remuneration and benefits, induction, training and development, employee wellness, organisation design, job profiling, etc.
    • Conducts weekly and monthly meetings with respective business units.
    • Delivery on staffing resourcing by ensuring high quality employees` for the business. Implementation of the full performance management cycle in the business.
    • Driving the values, culture and creation of a great working environment at business level.
    • Help identify, prioritise, and build organisational capabilities, behaviours, structures, and processes for business growth and success.

    • Analyse trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies
    • Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers.
    • Assist international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters.
    • Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
    • Participates in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs. Follows-up to ensure training objectives are met.
